About the project
QU.A.R.AN.T.I.N.E. – QUalitative Advanced Research ANd Training for Inclusion of Neets through Elettronic tools (Project Number: 2020-2-IT03-KA205-019431) is funded by the European Commission through the Erasmus+ programme (KA2 Strategic partnerships for youth).
The first main aim of the project is addressed to youth workers/organizations: to provide knowledge, competences and tools to improve the quality of “distance” youth work, both for emergency situations like the one in which we are living, and for other potential situations in which a “blended” approach could be useful.
The second main aim is addressed to the youth who suffer the consequences of isolation and social distance, especially NEETs and people with fewer opportunities, disability and geographical obstacles. The project aims to motivate, to improve opportunities and to develop the empowerment of these young people in European Countries.
Results
Intellectual Output 1
A toolkit and guidelines about suitable existing digital tools for distance youth work activities.
The consortium will create a suitable Open Education Resource (OER) which will include methodologies for approaching young people in isolation, social distance, or with any barriers as obstacles to a face-to-face interaction. A second part of the final OER will include a set of tools (activities and digital instruments) which will improve the youth workers competences to carry out activities remotely.
Intellectual Output 2
A set of motivational videos for youth from different backgrounds.
The consortium will create a set of 30 videos (5 per partner), aimed at developing coping strategies for youth, in order to develop their empowerment even in difficult situations.
The target group of this activity will be youth between 13 and 30 years olds, who suffer or are not yet recovered from isolation, social distancing, and/or youth that for geographical or physical (for instance because a disability) reasons are not able to be involved in face-to-face youth work activities.
Intellectual Output 3
A Youth Social Media Campaign to improve the opportunity for empowerment among youth in isolation or social distancing conditions.
The consortium will build a network of youth organizations in the partner countries and Europe, through at least 1 national on-line meeting in each partner country and international on-line meeting, and develop a social media campaign promoting youth empowerment, leadership, coping, and active citizenship.
